Litmus Automation is a Leading Vendor on 2018 IoT Edge ScoreCard

Momenta is proud to announce that IIoT platform provider and Momenta portfolio company, Litmus Automation,  has been rated a leading vendor in MachNation’s 2018 IoT Edge ScoreCard. MachNation, an industry analyst firm focused on enterprise IoT platforms, conducted the in-depth industry-first evaluation of 16 edge vendors. The findings rate Litmus Automation as a leading IoT edge vendor in an analysis spanning edge data processing, edge management, architecture and integration, and strategy and business.

Momenta Partners reinvests in IIoT’s Senseye

Momenta Partners  is reinvesting in scalable predictive maintenance company Senseye. Their series A funding was led by MMC Ventures with existing investors Breed Reply and IQ Capital also re-investing. The company raised £3.5m ($4.6mUSD).

One of the most important, and least understood technologies today is blockchain, which underlies Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  The revolutionary aspect of blockchain's center is decentralization, which means that secure peer-to-peer transactions can be conducted over networks without an intermediary.  While much of the focus of blockchain's implications has been on the financial sector, there is significant promise for the Industrial IoT, for supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, energy and other areas.  This two-part article looks at some of the ways blockchain and IoT can collectively benefit enterprise and its implications for Connected Industry.
