It can be difficult to quantify impact of digital initiatives, measure progress of digitization, and determine success. Momenta sought to find out how companies are currently faring, undertaking our first digital transformation survey to understand how global corporations are responding to digitization.

The survey attracted 125 respondents across a broad range of regions, companies, and industries. Respondents represent a diverse mix of organizational roles -- strategy/business development, sales/marketing, executives and digital transformation are almost equally represented.

The survey provides an opportunity to gain critical insights and first hand knowledge from those undertaking digital transformation. As budgeting season fast approaches for many of us, we hope that the survey results will yield actionable data and insights to support your Annual Business Planning, and benchmark the digitalization progress for your company.

We reviewed the most important takeaways from the survey in a 40 minute Teleconference. We shared some fascinating insights into the practices of a range of top tier companies as well as some of the challenges and lessons learned. We hope you will dive into the survey results.

We took a look at:

  • The key drives of digitization
  • How digitization strategies  differ within and across industries
  • The greatest hurdles/obstacles organizations face
  • What separates companies in the early evaluation stages of digitization vs those in more advanced execution phases
  • Organizational models for effective digital change across business units
